Hosted by Beehive State RBA, Mountain Cavies Association & USU Extension

This two‑day event blends hands‑on education, 4‑H practice stations, and a full slate of ARBA‑sanctioned rabbit and cavy shows. It is designed for youth, families, breeders, and exhibitors who want a friendly, educational summer show experience.

 

🗓️ Schedule of Events — 2026 Summer Showdown


Friday • July 17th

🎓 4‑H Practice Stations

Friday July 17th, 2026, Check In 10:00 AM, stations begin 10:30 AM

• State & National contest practice • Skill‑building activities • Hands‑on learning

*** Youth - be sure to be in your 4H showmanship attire ***


🐰 ARBA Specialty Rabbit Shows

Friday July 17th, 2026, Check In 5:00 PM Show starts 6:00 PM

• Lots-a Lops   • War of the Wools   • Rare & Wonderful   • Meat Makers   • Tiny-but Mighty 



Saturday • July 18th

🐇ARBA Rabbit Shows Open & Youth — A, B, and C

Check‑in: 8:00 AM Judging Begins: 9:00 AM.

🎀 Red, White & Blue Jackpot

Start Time: After BIS 


🐇 Rabbit Entry Information — 2026 Summer Showdown Deadlines

Entries due: 11:59 p.m. Monday, July 13th, 2026, Corrections due: 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, July 15th, 2026. Late entries will not be accepted — no exceptions.



💌 How to Enter

Email all rabbit entries to the show secretary:

Dolores Morris morrisrex@yahoo.com

Please put “BEEHIVE RBA” in the subject line.

In the body of the email, include:

  • Exhibitor Name
  • Mailing Address
  • City, State & Zip Code
  • Email Address
  • Whether you are entering Open or Youth
  • Which shows you are entering (Open A, Open B, All Open Shows, etc.)

Then list each rabbit as follows:

  1. Ear #, Breed, Variety, Class, Sex
  2. Ear #, Breed, Variety, Class, Sex
  3. Ear #, Breed, Variety, Class, Sex

Entry Fee: $5 per rabbit, per show


🚫 Important Entry Notes

To keep the secretary’s inbox clear and the entry process smooth, please do not send:

  • “Did you receive my entry” messages
  • “How many ___ are entered” questions
  • “Who else is entered” questions
  • Duplicate entries “just in case."

If you have a screenshot of your sent entry, any issues can be resolved from that.
